The Appling County Middle School Rams Wrestling Team completed an exciting 2016-2017 season, capping off their year with the Bulldog Brawl in Waycross and the Conference Championship in Brantley County. Medal winners for the Bulldog Brawl were as followed: Carter Eldridge (3rd place), Ty Benton (3rd place), Gavin Spell (3rd place), Shawn Johnson (3rd place), Jared Causey (2nd place), and Michael Creamer (2 nd place). Medaling at the Conference Championship were: Carter Eldridge (2nd place), Ty Benton (2nd place), Dominick Oeklke (4th place), Gavin Spell (3rd place), Cale Flowers (4th place), Shawn Johnson (3rd place), Jared Causey (2 nd place), and Jordan Roberts (4th place). In addition, Andreius Murray was declared the 2017 conference champion at 120 pounds.
